Maybe so, Steve, but I'm embarrassed that something like that could happen behind
my back, and since it did occur on my account, I am responsible. So I take that
responsibility and apologize for it, it's only the right thing to do.

Besides, I don't know if my ISP would cancel my account or not, but a good apology
and explanation makes it likely that they won't. If I stonewalled them I may be looking
for a new ISP.

Hopefully, no one will forward (to your ISP) any of your numerous
(over the months) *suggestions* that others do a little rogue
cancelling. Say, maybe your friends got their *idea* from you!

So that's what it was? And Nob...@replay.com is the person who may have written
this?

If that's the truth, maybe I shouldn't have bothered to apologize, even if I
personally
had deleted the posting, which I did not do. (Been over it already.)

The person (doesn't merit the term) who wrote that is a terminal fuckhead who, in a
sane world,
would be censored by law and common sense.

Feeling quite a bit less like a criminal now, (indirectly)

PS

Please note that at all times, you already know who I am. I post under my
real name. Unlike some people who are too frightened to even have a cute
'handle' and post as 'anonymous'.

I may do a little research and ask my ISP manager (something of a friend, but not a
close
one) if the complaint about the cancels came from 'anonymous' or if it actually had
a complainant's NAME on it. Knowing him, if it was from 'anonymous', he'll
probably
ignore the complaint on principle.

Now, if you care to investigate, you have what appears to be the mailing address of
the
individual we know as anonymous(nob...@replay.com). I highly encourage you
to make note of that when he fucks up.

Sorry about the language, but now I'm less ashamed than pissed off.

In the future, if I encounter anyone (and certain people in particular) posting
messages
like the ones that were cancelled, bearing a similarity to the one below (from
"mixm...@remail.obscura.com")
then I will personally take EXTREME DELIGHT in forwarding ALL of such messages to
ab...@ispnews.com,
postm...@ispnews.com, and the abuse and postmaster accounts at the appropriate ISP.

Such a message as identified constitutes SPAM of a noncommercial newsgroup, having no
intent except to irritate and carrying no topic related information.

Come on. Let's party.

CJ

My sincerest thanks to Chuck Ross for helping me identify what started all this.
(Indirectly. I found out by his posting.)

This is a formal request that you either start posting about audio or

If you _had_ seen fit to cancel this precious prose, he would be
all over you with convincing evidence of the crime. But in his
microscopic mind, this is great stuff! Nobody better not cancel it,
it's great stuff!
