found were a bunch of Ds and Fs and his apparent flunking out in his
second year.
Hubbard actually got straight As, excelled (as he later admitted) in
his studies, and went on to become, among his 29 professions, a civil
engineer and nuclear physicist. But we don't have these records
because the US intelligence services sheep dipped them. If the US had
allowed Hubbard's real and excellent academic record to fall into
enemy hands there's no telling what might have happened, but you can
bet we'd all now be speaking German or baby talk.

And how come Hubbard the co-operated in pretending to be a complete
moron about nuclear physics by such statements as "radiation is
water soluable." There is no doubt this statement was made in his
name, and he had endless opportunity to deny it. Many other statements
show him as being a complete moron about electromagnetism, say, or
special relativity. How come if he was really an ace scientist??

Easy, Dave--The Government Is Lying To Us. Hey, most of us went
to government-run schools <gasp>...see, after Hubbard went public
with Dianetics, there was a vast conspiracy to discredit him, including
rewriting text books to lie about the physical sciences. Interpol
was involved, so you were duped too, but see, here in the US, we're
convinced we're smarter, so we know we're not paranoid that the
Government Is Lying To Us.
Hubbard is a very smart man and he learned how to activate part of the
brain that may have been lulled in to passivity by all this duplicity.
It's called the "gullibility organ", and it's mostly inert except when
watching television--WARNING: "infomercials" or "documercials" may
overexict your gullibility organ into uncontrollable frenzies of
stupidity. However, commercials and other -mercials use evil
hypnotism to make you forget you just charged $3000 on your credit
card for "Beanie Babies" or some shampoo Cher recommended.
(They do this hypnotism by being incredibly dull and never getting
to the point or producing real evidence to back their claims.)
