RI-379Ri 'Religious Tolerance'

from Ambassador for Mankind

Message # RI-379Ri for Internet

Religious tolerance,
or the lack of it,
has been a severe problem along the ages.

There are two simple data which solve this problem.

1. Religious tolerance is
respecting the awareness-level of another.

The awareness-level of another
is never the same
from person to person,
nor
from subject to subject.

This means
that a person may have a high awareness-level
on one subject,
on which your own awareness-level is low,
and vice-versa.
Such differences
are to be respected from both sides,
up or down,
and that IS religious tolerance.

A person with a higher awareness-level
on a certain subject
could only help another
to raise the other's awareness-level,
if the awareness-level of the other is respected.
Someone would only learn from another
who has a higher awareness-level on a given subject,
if he respects the awareness-level of the other.

RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE IS
RESPECTING THE AWARENESS-LEVEL OF ANOTHER ON ANY SUBJECT.

The other simple datum
is:

2. The actual existence in life
of anti-social personalities
inside a religion or religious organization,
who mis-use the natural desire
for religious experience and practise people have,
in order to ACCUSE people of being aware and alive,
as if it were a sin.

Everybody
has a responsibility towards any religion,
that mechanisms and power-structures within a religion
which are hindering or preventing people
from striving for their natural desire
to reach for spiritual awareness,
are EXPOSED.

At the bottom of such
hindrances, preventions and power-structures,
one can always find a small number
of anti-social personalities within that religion.

EXPOSING anti-social personalities within a religion
benefits any religion,
and benefits anyone,
no matter which religion he belongs to.

It is the responsibility of anyone,
regardless of which religion he belongs to,
to expose and so remove
anti-social personalities
who infect
and abuse that religion.

This is not a matter of which religion.
All religions have suffered from this.

And so,
exerting this responsibility
is not religious intolerance,
but
it is helping any religion.

I think you need to define Religion.
A set of beliefs sometimes is not something to be tolerated.
How bout if you believe like Hitler did that
"all Jews need to be killed".
So you are saying, we should tolerate all peacefull religions,
but then the peacefull religions wouldn't need your message.
