First update for Windows NT 3.1 is available!

The first Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server 3.1 update is now
available from Microsoft. Microsoft has made this update available via
all of its electronic support options (Internet, Compuserve, MS Download,
etc.

This update is a comprehensive patch containing fixes for many of the
bugs reported up to this point.

To obtain the update, ftp to ftp.microsoft.com, and log on as "anonymous"
with your full email name as the password. An update.txt file containing
a list of bugs fixed, files modified, and instructions for installation
is located in the \cs\winnt\sup-ed\fixes directory.

NOTE: The "cs" directory will be changing to "Advsys" later this week
in order to better reflect the products represented there.
