First from gryph:

<<WARNING: The message you are about to read is NOT from
megazone. gry...@wpi.wpi.edu is writing to you now; it's
easier to post it all as one article, and megazone runs the
ftp site, so...>>

Hello again, USEnet. It's waay too early to be trying to
write this, but time constraints demand it, so here we go...

This file heralds the coming of something I know a lot of you
have been waiting for: the second installment in the
_Undocumented Features_ series. Once again, we've worked
very hard to ensure that what reaches you is the highest
quality writing we could make it. We trust you won't be
disappointed with either its technical or artistic content.

(grin. wow, do I sound pompous.)

Due to the fact that spring break will soon be upon us,
we're adopting a bit more intensive posting schedule than
last time. Four chapters per day will be hitting the nets
beginning today. As with last time, there will be a short
glossary and wrapup file at the end. Zoner will handle all
the technical details; I'm just here to spiel. That's what
English majors do best.

All of you who loved the original _UF_, here's the sequel
you've been asking for; sorry it took us as long as it did.
Hope you enjoy it. For any newcomers: This story is the
second in a series, the first being _Undocumented Features_,
which was posted two chapters per day last November.
MegaZone's section will contain technical information on
where you can get that file, if you want to be caught up
before beginning the second part.

Well...that's about all I have to say...enjoy, and once
again, let us know what you think.

<<We now return you to the owner of this account,
mega...@wpi.wpi.edu.>>

Hi folks, Zoner here. Well it's finally finished and it's
just beginning. If you liked the light-hearted humor of the
first story, we apologize, The Long Road (that's the name of
the second book) is a bit darker. The authors have had a lot
of evil shit happen in their lives since part one was written
and writing part two was sort of a stress relief. We write
for ourselves first, everyone else second. But fear not part
three should be a little lighter. (hehehe, death,
destruction, mayhem)

Like Gryph said, spring break starts in a week so I'll be
dumping this on the nets quick-like. The files will be lr.*
where * is the chapter number; 1-20, epilogue, and glossary.
Any email can be sent to mega...@wpi.wpi.edu or
gry...@wpi.wpi.edu. If you want to see the original
Undocumented Features it is available via FTP at 130.215.24.1
in /anime/FanFiction as dp.undocument.1.Z Once I finish
posting The Long Road it will be there as dp.undocument.2.Z,
I wait until I'm done because I inevitably find errors while
posting it.

I will only be posting the story to rec.arts.anime, alt.prose,
and wpi.students.story because of the complaint we got from
rec.arts.comics for the first story. I just thought I'd let
the fans on the other groups know it was on its way. (I'm not
trying to be smug, I've had people ask me to post it on these
groups, but it really doesn't have any ties and I don't
really enjoy being flamed.)

Enjoy, and please email and comments, questions, or
criticisms to mega...@wpi.wpi.edu and/or gry...@wpi.wpi.edu
We do read the email, in fact we still have all of the
letters we received from UF in our accounts.
