The following is a recap of the EMLL show that aired yesterday in Mexico
and was a tape of the Friday, 6\19 card.

For those of you interested in getting the EMLL shows, now that they
have been taken off TV, feel free to E- Mail me. We can either trade or
buy. The same goes for Japanese tapes. I get them all!

The show opened with a clip of the Middleweight title match between
Bestia Salvaje and Atlantis from 6\16 at Arena Coliseo. Atlantis won 2
falls to 1 in what appeared to be a great match.

The opener had Espectro, Espectro de Ultratumba and Negro Casas vs.
Ringo Mendoza, Mano Negra, and El Dandy. The whole purpose of this
match was to set up the Dandy\Casas feud, which will be memorable. The
rudos won two straight falss, the second coming when Casas pinned Dandy
after Casas had kicked out of a Dandy superplex from the top rope. To
add insult to injury, Casas pinned Dandy with his own move, the Dandy
rollup. ** 3\4.

The segunda had La Fiera, Emilio Charles Jr, and bestia Salvaje draw
with Lizmark, El Brazo, and Brazo de Plata. The teams split the first
two falls and then drew in the third when captains Salvaje and Brazo de
plata pinned other. It is amazing that Brazo de Plata has returned so
quickly from his heart attack. ***

The Tercera was a really good match that pit my favorites, Los
Inferniales (Pirata Morgan, MS1, and Satanico) against Vampiro
Canadiense, Rayo de Jalisco Jr, and Faraon. The technicos beat my boys
in three falls in a really athletic match. Pirata Morgan and MS1 were
great in both their moves and their bumps. They built heat all match on
referee Gato Montini's intereference. *** 1\4.

The main event was a hair vs. hair match between Brazo de Oro and Sangre
Chicana. This paled in comparison to the other great Hair matches in
Mexico this year. Brazo de Oro lost his hair when he lost the third
fall due to interference by Chicana's second, Bestia Salvaje. Decent
match, but not comparable to others this year. ** 1\2.

BTW, if anyone wants to get a good sheet on Lucha, try Steve Sims' Lucha
Libre Weekly.

If you want the address, just ask. I'd type it but I don't have it
close by!
