I have a Linksys Router, and the Incoming Log keeps filling up with Zeros.
Only two entries at the bottom of the list, no other activity. Using
LogViewer I see no Incoming activity. Is this normal?

Outgoing log seems fine from Router, and LogViewer

What Linksys firmware version are you using? I will say that the internal
web log viewer in the Linksys has some problems (like what your seeing,
clearing the html table) and I would recommend the use of a desk top log
viewer such as:

Router Rooter - http://routerrooter.perceptron.com/
SNMPLog - http://www.marcsweb.com/mnweb_software.shtml
Kiwi Syslog Daemon - http://www.kiwi-enterprises.com/
SNMP Trap Watcher - http://www.bttsoftware.co.uk/snmptrap.html
WallWatcher - http://www.sonic.net/~sraaii/wallwatcher/Index.html
Linksys Logviewer - ftp://ftp.linksys.com/pub/befsr41/logviewer.exe
Link Logger - http://www.linklogger.com

Just so you know, I'm the product manager for Link Logger.

HEY! Thanx for posting the comprehensive list.

I've been using SNMPLog & really like it but it seems Marc
hasn't done much with it recently. He was going to port it
to U**x but I guess he got too busy. Are there any plans to
port LinkLogger to U**x? There's utilities in Linux but
they're a pain to set up.

I'll give your product a try in a while - once all this
Code Red stuff is under control - all my scripts use the
SNMPLog format logs - too lazy to re-write them. :-(

Since Link Logger is written in Delphi and Borland released Kylix we have
thought about porting it to Linux, but I'm not going to make any promises
about delivery dates (if any), as its just an idea right now. I don't know
if you have tried these Linux logging tools, but I've heard them mentioned
by others:

http://net-snmp.sourceforge.net/
http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/mrtg/mrtg.html
http://www.dshield.org/linux_clients.html#linksys

Since I have not tried any of these I can not comment on them, but offer
them to you as a possible Linux based solution.

If you want to see what Red Code has been doing on my local @Home provider
see http://members.home.net/mcneillb/, as it does appear to be slowing down.
I've already had 190 Red Code visits today however, compared to yesterday's
total of 237.
