I would like some input on a 10 Commandments issue.

When we talk about the 10 Commandments, what are we talking about?

1. Most people, myself included, would point to Exodus 20 as the
location of the 10 Commandments
(http://bible.gospelcom.net/cgi-bin/bible?language=english&passage=exodus+20&version=NASB).
But nowhere do we see God specifically stating that these are the 10
Commandments (although there are 10 there) to be written on stone for
all the Children of Israel.

2. Then in Exodus 32 we see that God writes the 10 Commandments on
stone. Note that we have no clue what they are because they are not
restated. Moses breaks these stones
(http://bible.gospelcom.net/cgi-bin/bible?passage=EXOD+32&language=english&version=NASB).

3. Finally, Moses takes another trip up Sinai and God gives him The
Commandments again, this time he writes them down and they stand firm.
language=english&passage=exodus+34&version=NASB). Note that this is
the ONLY time that we even read the words "Ten Commandments".

After reading the entire 34th chapter of Exodus, what do you conclude
the 10 Commandments to be?

First off Andrew there were 15 origonal commandments, but Moses was an old guy
and could not carry the weight of the three stone tablets down the mountain so
he left one up the mountain meaning to come back later for it.

But it seems Mankind was not even ready for the 10 commandments so he figured,
why go all the way back up the mountain for the other 5 if they will not accept
the 10.

By the way you are mistaken.
The 10 commandments are enumerated. what bible have you been reading if you
doubt what they are.
