IRC - Jeopardy

Jeopardy is played 24hrs/7days a week on IRC, to access IRC you need to
have a client program to access the IRC server. You can't do it from any
of the pay services like Delphi or AOL. You need a shell account
or,SLIP,orPPP to access. THe server Bot posts a question on the channel
and people answer on open with the word alex <answer here>.
Points are onlt awarded to the first person with the correct answer. If
you have a slow node or are in a lag, you will suffer great frustration
as you won't get any points.
On another note, there are nightly trivia games played on GEnie chatlines.
I used to be a gameOP there till I had some problems with the Chatlines SysOP
and I was banned from GEnie altogether. Those games are in my opinion the
best on any online system. The gameOP posts a question and you have 30
seconds to send your message via private message to the Op. All those
guessing correctly are awarded points/ Scoring is based on number of
correct answers/incorrect answers. The games are usually a lot of fun.
If someone was interested in writing a game for use on IRC on Internet, I
can provide the GEnie chatlines game for a re-write. I'm not a programmer
so I can't do it. I have full authority (In writing) from the original
author of the GEnie game version to do what I want with the program.

Hiya Paul. Yeah, I remember you playing my Trivia games on GEnie back
when you were Leland. :) I'm now running Trivia games on another service
called Novalink. We have Trivia there Sunday and Tuesday nights, and a
few afternoons during the week. And you can telnet to us. (novalink.com)
We're also looking for people who can come up with 50 interesting (and
original/new) questions each week to be helpers on Novalink (also, you
must spend at least 5 hours/week in the Virtual Cafe) in exchange for
free accounts. But you must also be able to telnet, as this is the only
