TOGETHER DATING CUSTOMERS: BEWARE

In recent weeks, numerous Together Dating Service offices
have closed -- with thousands of customers, who had paid the
Together chain in full, being abandoned, and basically left "high
and dry."

While this pattern of unannounced closures has been
occurring for many years -- including previous closures in
Atlanta, Georgia, Chicago, Illinois, Cleveland, Ohio and Tampa,
Florida in the United States, and in Dusseldorf, Germany and
London, England abroad -- a rapid acceleration appears to have
developed since April 15, 1997 when Dateline NBC aired its expose
of the Together chain's frauds.

Therefore, potential customers should be very cautious
before handing over their money to any Together operation -- both
to make sure that all crucial claims now being made are not
fraudulent (as Attorneys General, in state after state, have
claimed in suing the chain for fraud), and also to make certain
that the office will NOT close and leave customers without their
money and the introductions promised (as tens of thousands of
customers have learned too late).

Among important Together offices that appear to have
recently closed are: Albuquerque, NM; Burlington, VT; Denver,
CO; Erie, PA; Honolulu, HA; Jacksonville, FL; Johnson City, TN;
Little Rock, AR; Los Angeles, CA; Memphis, TN; Panama City, FL;
Portland, ME; Roanoke, VA; Salt Lake City, UT; San Diego, CA;
Springfield, IL; Springfield, MA; Tallahassee, FL; Toledo, OH and
Youngstown, OH.

If you know of any other Together offices that have
closed, or if you have any information which suggests that one or
more of the offices indicated above did not close (or may have
later reopened), then please contact Victims Together at the
address listed below.

Also, the Together Dating Service chain's developers
placed sizable display advertisements in several Florida daily
newspapers earlier this year, during February, 1997, which read:

"BEWARE DATING SERVICE SCAM: If you purchased a
Together Dating Service membership in the last year and your
membership is still in effect you may be entitled to a full or
partial refund."

Further, the Together Dating Service chain's President
(Brian Pappas) has threatened in writing to file for bankruptcy
if clients in Connecticut do not "voluntarily" pay an additional
$20 per month to obtain the services for which they have already
paid in full!!!!

If you "purchased a Together Dating Service membership"
and if you feel that you are owed a full or partial refund, then,
for more information, please send (to Victims Together, Box 99,
Kirkland, WA 98083): (1) your name, address and telephone
number; (2) copies of your contract, all advertising materials
and any other paperwork; and (3) a legal-sized, stamped,
self-addressed envelope.
