Sextant is a new Internet Gopher client for Macintosh. Sextant was designed
for easy use by the majority of Macintosh users in a typical CWIS
environment. Sextant supports folder, file, search, and CSO name server
types currently and ignores Gopher+ information. Future versions will
support the Gopher+ attribute blocks and Binhex downloading.

Sextant 1.0b16, the Sextant User Guide, and several reference files are
available for anonymous ftp at

ftp.brown.edu
/pub/gopher/Sextant.sea.hqx

NOTE: This is a beta distribution. Sextant 1.0b16 does have some known
bugs, but each is quite tame; these will be fixed in the next release.

Please send all comments, suggestions, and bugs to this address.
