A Japan website has revealed that Sam Sloan has written the most
incisive prose on whatever subject.

However, the website incorrectly concludes that what Sam Sloan wrote
is fiction. Actually, it is fact.

It is near the very bottom of the page at:
http://www.links.net/daze/02/01/tsudaze.html

It says the following:

So I skip past that straight to the Sam Sloan, who, as ever, has
written the most incisive prose on whatever subject it is we share
this evening. Somehow I've had the foresight to save a copy of "Hard
Times in Tokyo, Japan, A Screenplay" to my hard drive, and right now I
am deriving much enjoyment from this reading. All that is fashion and
pretense and post-contemporary cliche in Hiropon my Heroine is
unrepentantly stilted prose depicting non-sequetorial lust, cuttthroat
chess and mindless sexual conquest in "Hard Times in Tokyo, Japan, A
Screenplay"

Why bother with fiction? After three beers, I can think of three
reasons:

There seem to be several of these. Here is one that says: "Sam Sloan
is my favorite on the internet. He's a little less prolific than he
was in the past, but he still churns out nuggets of genius every
couple of days."

http://www.groovetheory.net/2000_10_15_archive.asp#1088074

There is another one on "Drunk and Retired" at
http://www.drunkandretired.com/2001_08_12_old.html#5115795

Thanks to my friends (and enemies) who keep telling me about these.
