I don't use IM Bombers, but how will the AOL Rate Limiting program (KW: rate
limiting) effect IM bombers and punters?

AOL imposes a rate limit on an AOL Member Account when a member exceeds the
acceptable number of Instant Message™ notes or Buddy Chat™ invitations they
send in a given time period. Sending messages at a rate that exceeds this limit
cannot be accomplished without the aid of some add-on, third-party tool or
software, such as might be utilized by a computer "hacker." When an account is
rate limited, the ability to send Instant Message notes and Buddy Chat
invitations is blocked for a certain period of time.

I would think that it would keep people from sending IMs for
awhile(obviously)but since I understand that most punters work by sending
unsupported html,ie 1IM punters,it probably wont have an effect.
