I found an (extraordinarily small) torx screwdriver adapted to the
little screws on the sides of the screen and checked they weren't
loose -they are not.
My reseller tells me, it's a case for returning the machine - we don't
even know how this works, just leave it here for some weeks :-/
While I feel lucky this happens within the guarantee delay, I would
like to check here wether there isn't, by any chance, a simple
workaround that would avoid me to just wait weeks and weeks... I
didn't find anything exploring Google groups with "Ti, Powerbook,
hinge".
Anyone around here that would have had the same problem but with a
wiser reseller? Any advice? Any site with images of the way this damn
screen is attached to the hinge?
I know, the screen is half the cost of the machine -I'm prudent ;-)

Send it back to Apple. They will turn it around within a week.
Um, that may be so in NY Herve, but on the Continent Apple's clock ticks
somewhat slower..
