Announcing a forthcoming production from "Foiled
Productions", makers of extremely low-budget
entertainment.

We're doing an English version of Buffy... I'd call it
a parody, but let's face it, Buffy itself is a parody,
so we're perhaps more of a homage to the series. It's
going to be approximately 20 minutes in length, and is
just planned as a one-off. Although, if it's REALLY
popular, maybe one day we'll make another. That's a
BIG maybe.

We have a script, we have a couple of actors, we have
a small crew and we have a few possible locations. What
we're missing, and what you may be able to help with, is:-

Three lead actors: the Buffy role, the Willow role,
and the Xander role. No acting experience necessary;
we're well known for using complete amateurs, just so
long as you're roughly the right age and don't mind
spending a few weekends of complete madness to make
a movie... (and if you're the Buffy-wannabe, you
probably shouldn't mind being thrown around a little
bit... stunt-people? not on our productions..!!!)

Filming seems likely to be taking place at least partly
in the Hampshire/Surrey area, and may also take in
Manchester and other places, so willingness to travel
is a plus! It'll start as soon as we're ready - which
is at least February, and maybe as late as May/June,
knowing how these things go...

We also need:-

One major location: a "lair" where the vampires hang
out. Indoors, with power supplies, as spooky as
possible (we don't want to spend weeks building
sets), large enough to stage a couple of fights and
to hold all the vampires - and where we can have
access for several hours at a time for a number of
weekends..... yikes!!! Anyone happen to have a rich
uncle with a spooky old mansion?! Or know of somewhere
that might just be right?

There are also some roles as vampires if you don't
mind hanging around in the background doing nothing
for hours at a time............

So, what do you get for helping us out? Life in the
fast lane? More money than you can spend? Not likely!!!
A copy of the video when we're done, invites to all the
screenings (our last production has so far played in 4
countries including one major festival), worldwide
exposure on the internet, a chance to show off to your
friends, hopefully TV and press coverage - all this can
be yours.

We're not in this for money, we're out to have fun, and
we usually do. Drop by the Foiled Productions website
at http://www.foiled.co.uk/ to see what we're about, and
even download our last movie if you've got the patience.

If you can help, in front of the camera, or behind, or
just want to come along and make the sandwiches, drop us
an email at ft...@holywater.co.uk

Thanks!

Only if they find out.
(Sound of amateur film makers emigrating to Rio de Janeiro).

Eco-systems. Every time.
Besides, if God created woman, then surely female nudity wouldn't phase him.

Nothing to do with anything, which goes to show how bored I am.

Ah, but it's not about Buffy!

It's about an English girl who happens to slay vampires,
and has some familiar-looking friends... we've not used
any of the original names - we've just got an original
script, with amusing ideas, and we're making it because
we like the show, not to make any money off it... :)

Our last movie was a Star Wars fan-film - just take a look
at how many of them are out there!
