Hi all,
Norton AntiVirus was running for several days on our Exchange Server. The
disk scanning was disabled from the beginning, but realtime-protection was
enable until today. Is there a way to find out if Norton did any damage to
the IS?
What damage could have happend? And should I uninstall Norton from the
server or is there no problem when realtime-prot. and disk scanning on the
server is disabled?

Thanks in advance,
Kai Schütrumpf

Are you running the MS Exchange version of NAV? If so, make sure you have
the correct version for your service pack level - Exchange 2k SP1 and later
requires NAVMSE 2.5... conversely, NAVMSE 2.5 won't work on SP1 or better...
have to have an earlier version of NAV.

could be in trouble if you scanned the m drive or the
exchsrvr directory...

you need to exclude those in NAV

calendaring information may be messed up as well as the
counters in your inbox... (if you have 50 messages and four
new, when you get a new message it will say you have one
message, one new)
