I know alot of you are getting fed up with the bloody password reset in
NM 3 RDS. I spent a few minutes taking alook at the registry and found
where NM RDS is saving the password.:
Load up REGEDIT(PLEASE if your not sure what your doing STOP!!!
Reading this messages), find:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Conferencing\Mcpt]

Take a note of the field : "FieldPos"

Now if you delete this registry setting, (make sure your not in NM), then
restart your NM, and try to go into the RDS settings you will be prompted
to run the wizard or change the password. Select the Password option and
you will notice that the OLD password field is blank! Now type in your
new password and away you go. This is MUCH faster then having to uninstall
NM and then reinstalling it, just to have the option to reenter a new
password.

Now one of the other options you have is to EXPORT
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Conferencing\Mcpt]

After you have selected a new password, go back into REGEDIT, find the
registry settings above, export it into a *.REG file.
Using the TASK SCHEDULER, you can have it update your registry ever ???
hours or once aday with your old known password. This way if your working
remote and your password resets, all you have to do is wait for a set time
and allow the Scheduler to update the registry with your know password.

Text file should look something like this:

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Conferencing\Mcpt]
"FieldPos"=hex:c6,<deleted some text, don't want to give away my
password>,42

I know this isn't the best way to do it, but if MS gets off their f* ass and
fix the problem I wouldn't have to do all this.

And I HAVE MS Network Client installed and my Password keeps resetting
either way.

Enjoy, and please not the anti-spam email address.
