I know the Adobe site says it can't be done, but wondered whether anyone had found a fix.

I created some long documents in a beta version of Indesign 2. Now that I have bought the full release version of Indesign 2, it will not open those beta files. Gives a message something like 'Indesign 2 cannot open files created in a beta version of this software'.

These are important documents to me and I need to update them. Tried running both versions of the software on a PC - one in a Virtual PC window but cutting and pasting does not function. Can Markzware help i wonder?

It would be a real pain to have to export to word or pdf then recreate teh layout in release version of ID2 and paste everything back in, so I'd be grateful if anybody knows a solution to save me several days.

If you were a legitimate beta tester you would have received direction
on how to convert those files. Since you didn't I can only assume the
copy you used was illegal.

Congratulations on buying the retail version, but that doesn't excuse
you from the stupidity of using an illegal beta to create important
documents.

Why in the world did you create any critical documents using a beta
version? They specifically tell you not to do that... in any case, if
you were on the beta team you can contact Adobe and they'll help you.
