The '706 has to be set up for the kind of "keying" you will be using for CW, as well as which connector. Is your antenna set up correctly, with little reflected power? ... I seem to be able to get 100 watts when I select the RTTY option but I'm not sure ... I would be obliged I'm sure this rig must be able to puts its full power on to HF digital....
