by Edmonton. Oilers captain Messier set up all three goals in the 3rd period
on a 5 minute powerplay, he had 5 points on the night. Taylor ahd a hat trick
for the Kings.

Hull scored his 45th goal 1:35 into the 3rd period for the game winner as St.
Louis came from two goals down to win. Krygier and Cunneyworth tallied for
the Whalers. Brind'Amour and Momesso had the other goals for St. Louis.

Tocchet had 4 goals and 2 assists as the Flyers broke their 10 game winless
streak over the Jets. Tocchet's 3rd goal gave the Flyers the lead 6-5, but
Paslawski scored 32 seconds later to tie. But Sutter got the game winner just
1:14 after that. Tocchet's fourth goal was an empty netter to assure the win.
