My regular walk home used to be past this neat light I could turn off by
hitting the post. Later I learned to step down hard in the right spot
to turn it off. It would turn back on about 2minutes later after I had walked
on. It was some sort of lose connection as it worked best when the temperature
was below -20' (Thunder Bay,Ont.,Canada).
I originally discovered the effect when I observed the light
flicker out when the person ahead of me passed under it.
It turned on as I passed underneath. Knowing
about lose connections and being in the middle of my technicians program
I gave the post a good kick. The light went out again.
I was able to amaze a few friends with the light.
Take it anyway you like and post it to the net if you want.
