I must say, these two episodes were the WORST PR episodes of all time.
I've never seen such horrible action, horrible writing, and HORRIBLE
ACTING in my life. The actors who play Shane, Dustin, and ESPECIALLY
that annoying Tori, have to be the worst actors ever (in the PR era).
Everything in these two episodes just seemed rushed.

The "dude" and "cool" dialogs really got on my nerves. The villians
were really lame, and Cam was just annoying.

I never thought that a series would be any worse than Turbo, Suckweed
Rescue, and Wild SUCK Force, but I guess I was wrong. I think Power
Rangers Storm is going to be the WORST PR series ever, at this point.
Disney has officially ruined Power Rangers, and I don't like it at
all!

Sigh. Worst? How soon we forget Vypra... Besides, this is PR. One learns
very quickly not to expect Emmy Awards for acting here.

Dustin was actually pretty well portrayed. He just seemed complete. Shane
seems a tad forced. 'Jason' on a skateboard. As for Tori...it IS only two
episodes.

Dude and cool...I actually liked those parts of the dialogue. As long as
they didn't try to crack a joke, they were fine, if overly stereotypical.

Now see, THIS is the type of negative reviews that should be disregarded.
Making a judgment on two episodes and saying they're bad- that's a review.
Making a judgement on a SERIES based on two episodes...not a review.

Because of the lack of positive feedback I'm seeing here I'm just supporting
it. You don't have to share my opinions, but I always thought it was
undisputable how bad the acting was in Wild Force and some of the Lightspeed
cast. My brother shudders at the mention of Dana or Kelsey's name. I'm not
that far off from that. We both feel the Wild Force acting was atrocious as
well. Compaired to that I think the Ninja Storm acting is pretty damn good. I
mean dear god, I still have nightmares of Danny screaming "Bison Zord" in slow
motion.

And I think PRWF had some of the strongest acting of the last few seasons. So
stop cramming your opinions down our throats. Maybe it hurts to see Ninja Storm
be insulted if you love it so much -- but then stop doing the same damn thing
about incarnations the vast majority of the fandom happens to enjoy. It makes
you look like some shill for Roadshow. I can't make a judgment call about the
acting of PRNS, as I have no intention of ever watching it.

I'm not cramming my opinions down anyone's throats. I'm sorry if I think the
Wild Force cast was bad acting. It's not like I thought they were good, saw
Ninja Storm and then changed my mind. I always thought it was bad. I've never
cringed so many times in a PR series, probably not even during Lightspeed
Rescue. Some people share my views, some people don't. And not that I "Love
Ninja Storm so much" because I've only seen two episodes, but I have a right to
say whatever I want about previous seasons because I've seen them in full. If
someone want's to say today's episode of Ninja Storm sucked that's fine.
People saying the series WILL suck is a totally different story. I only base
my opinions on what I've seen, not on what I might see. I didn't love what I
saw but I also didn't hate it. I thought it was decent enough to keep on
watching and maybe it'll get better. Maybe it'll get worse, who knows. I
thought Galaxy sucked big time the first half, even with the Magna Defender.
But the second half is IMO some of PR's best. Anything can happen in these
series, and if some people are closed minded and don't give it a chance based
on two episodes it's their loss. I'm not referring to you Chris, I know you
have reasons for not watching and I respect that. I'm talking about people
that have seen the first two episodes and are condeming it already.

Opinions are fine - there are no two PR fans who will think the same about
every series and every cast - but I don't see how his mentioning of how poorly
he thought certain past actors/actresses to be is 'cramming it down our
throats' anymore than other people are about the NS cast and show itself.

GreenRangr is just backing up a show that he enjoys and likes. You do
the same exact thing whenever someone insults your precious "Wild
Force" and I do the same thing whenever someone makes belligerent
remarks at "Time Force". It's natural to stand up for a show that you
enjoy watching.

Anyway, in my opinion, I think "Ninja Storm" has some of the best
actors we've seen in a long time. Well, maybe not TOO long ago because
"Time Force" only airred two years ago and their cast was astounding.
Whenever someone says that "Wild Force" had some of the strongest
acting in the last few seasons, I can't say that that person is wrong
because it's their opinion, but I definitely will disagree with it.
Okay, so, back to the "Ninja Storm" cast...they're not TERRIBLE actors
but they're NOT great actors either. They're above average and
definitely have a lot of potential to become famous actors. They were
a little choppy in the premiere but they bounced back in the second
episode and proved that they could act well.

Well, you do have a good point. I'll give PRNS a chance, but I am not
sure if things will improve much at this point. I mean, everything
that could go wrong did go wrong in the first two episodes. After the
standards great series like PRTF and MOST ESPECIALLY the great PRiS
set as far as good acting & writing, PRNS does not meet up to that at
all.

Wild Force was an absolute joke, especially with that bumbling Cole
Evans as the leader. Ninja Storm, in the first two episodes, have
been worse, which is NOT a good thing at all. Disney better get their
acts together, or they are going to lose more PR fans.

I wouldn't go that far. We've yet to have a PR actor reach truly
"famous" status. AJJ is probably as close as anyone has come. Archie
might be on the right track, too.

The SECOND episode proved that? It all has to do with what they're given
to say.

Jack Nicholson, Sir Laurence Olivier and Meryl Streep couldn't have
turned that script into chicken salad.

Can I ask you a serious question here? Do you even remember the
original PR series at all? PR has ALWAYS been like this. (Don't get me
wrong, I was a big fan of the original, and I'm still a quasi-fan now)
but come on, PR has ALWAYS been on the corny/campy side of television.

Give it at least a semblance of a chance.

thats the idea im afraid. im pretty sure that was disneys plan
altogether..make PRWF and PRNS really bad to where we give up on
PR..then slowly lose interest.

however i liked PRWF very much...not as good as PRTF or PRIS..but it
was a good second. PRNS..unlike most people who wants to make a "whole
series suckage based on two episodes alone" opinion..im gonna give it
a fair shot. i hate the bad jokes and all..and the acting is not
great...but give them a break..the series just started. im very sure
it will improve by time november gets here when it ends.

You must never have seen the first three seasons of PR. Extremely horrid
acting, even worse stories and villains. If you want a poorly done series,
look at Lightspeed Rescue. PRLR was so dry, that plain toast would have been
more moist. The characters were completely boring and (except for the
cowboy) reminded me of cardboard cutouts. PRiS was good, but stop basing
every damned series on it. PRiS was pretty horrible its first group of
episodes.

Lets see how well you do being raised away from civilization, then THROWN
into it. Cole and the rest of PRWF was well done. There were deeper
storylines than we ever saw before: missing parents, finding they were
murdered, their murderer being a FRIEND who became Master Org, Toxica and
Jindrax started as clowns then as the story progressed we saw they were
confused and actually fighting for their race, not Master Org. PRWF was the
first incarnation in a long time that the team actually felt like a team to
me.

Cole's search for his parents' story, Jindrax and Toxica...Wild Force

Alright, I think some of you guys seem to forget that Power Rangers is a
"children's show" and that you guys aren't "little kids" any more, you're young
adults and maybe the humour that was around in MMPR doesn't attract you
anymore. And GS, I notice that almost every year, you feel the need to compare
a new series to "THE ALMIGHTY PRiS" that's something that you need to get out
of, because face it, there's never going to be another PRiS, the Space Rangers
are gone. I think we just need to get over the fact that Power Rangers isn't
run by MMPR Productions anymore and those who like the series, watch it. Those
who have decided to not watch the series, well I don't know what you should do.
But for those who don't like the series, then simply "Don't Watch it". My
little brothers, and sisters loved it, they wouldn't watch Power Rangers

Do you really think Disney is going to spend the time and money to rehire the
entire staff, most of whom have already moved on to other projects? To move
production back to California, where it's costlier? To resume using SAG actors?
More and more, I see Roadshow as euthanasia. The franchise is being quietly put
to sleep.

MMPR Productions was not some autonomous entity like Roadshow. They were a
wholly owned subsidiary of Saban, and later Buena Vista. Disney owns the name.
The studios are gone. The offices are being used for JAG, as I recall. There
ain't no MMPR Productions to BRING back. If Ninja Storm tanks, PR dies for five
to ten years. Then, of course, the nostalgia factor will kick into gear.
