The Cleveland Brown front office announced today that the franchise has
undergone an immediate change in ownership status. In a move not unlike the
secret arrangement made by previous owner Art Modell on an airport tarmac,
when the original franchise relocated to Baltimore, late last evening,
papers were quickly drawn up for another secret meeting in which complete
ownership of the Browns was transferred to running back Jamal Lewis, of the
Baltimore Ravens.
In a move expected to be approved by the NFL League Office, Lewis will be
allowed to remain playing with the Ravens while also owning the Browns.
Upon assuming control of the Browns franchise, Lewis immediately traded the
entire defense to the Pitttsburg Steelers, in preparation for next Sunday
night's game where he will attempt to first exceed 2,000 yards rushing in a
season, then eclipse Eric Dickerson's record of 2,105, then set a new
standard of 2,521 yards by halftime.

Thanks for the crosspost, troll.
:Thanks for the crosspost, troll.
1. I'm not a troll. I've been lurking here for a while and posted here
more than a few times in on-topic discussions.
2. Not all cross-posting is evil. The fact that it's a cross-post
doesn't mean it's a bad thing. Educate yourself.

Thanks for taking a break from trolling in the Steelers ng to give your
input.

Idiotic. I sure hope you didn't come up with this drivel.
agreed.
:OK....fuck Bernie....,this gets my vote for dumbass post of the year for
:2003.Anyone else??
You mean your follow-up?
What, there's no Leaky Diaper Whining Post of the Year?
Well, I guess so, then.
:"Mike N." <palindrome(spam)@cablespeed.com> wrote in message
Nope.. just thought it was good enough to share.
Which, of course, it is. However, the whining maggots in the Cleveland
Browns group can't see it because the joke is made at the expense of
their team. If the shoe were on the other foot, they'd be laughing and
hooting, crying "BRILLIANT!!!", etc.
What's sad about them, to me, is if in fact the shoe were on the other
foot and it was about some Brown owning the Ravens.. the Ravens fans
would be taking it in stride and letting the Brownies have their fun.
It's a shame that even on Usenet, the Browns have the worst fans in
sports.
You've got my vote. Your post is undeniably the "dumbass post of the year
for 2003". Congratulations. Let us know what you come up with for 2004.
Mike N.
Nice try.. but I'm no troll.. if there's something good to discuss about
the Browns, I'm here for that, too.
Sadly, even your own fans do little more than rip your team.
I have seen nothing from you, Mr. Slick, or Bernie, or the myriad other
morons from Baltimore who cross-post here that even remotely suggests that
this will be the case when the "shoe is on the other foot." Craven fans are
among the biggest whiners in all professional sports (just read one of your
posts, or that whack job Bernie, if you think I need to go "educate
myself"). It starts with your whining head coach, goes down to your whining
murderer linebacker Ray "Sellout" Lewis and comes full circle with your
inane need to post in this newsgroup. That is, by definition, whining.
Pittsburgh is gonna punk your team's ass, again, on Sunday. And since we
know the Browns will lay down against the Bengals, the Cravens will once
again be home for the playoffs, watching the Bengals, just like the Steelers
and Browns. Oh boo-hoo, Craven Fans...
Sorry Bryan, I guess others can see through your cross-posting antics as
well. Like I said, you are a troll, no more, no less.
Hey gang, Bryan's *not* a troll.
A troll would take a thread that started out in another newsgroup and
cross post it to another in order to insult the second group, thus
starting a bit of a rift between the two groups.
Also, a troll would then follow up his cross post by insulting the
rival group with inflammatory language like, "whining maggots in the
Cleveland Browns group" or "the Browns have the worst fans in sports."
Clearly this is not Bryan's style. He's merely here for because of the
love of football, regardless of the team being discussed.
Oh wait Bryan, on a closer review of the actual facts you are a troll.
Never mind gang!
BTW Bryan. Maybe instead of trolling you should learn how to take
pictures with your digicam. Your family photos look like they were
taken with an endoscope.

My favorite post is where Bryan tries to whack someone for cross-posting
between the Ravens and Browns newsgroups. HMMMM, sounds familar, huh?
At least we aren't the only ng Bryan trolls. When he isn't having his daily
circlejerk in rec.sport.football.college with his buddies he can often be
found trolling the Vikings, Steelers, etc.
He even finds time to rile up the "Tolkien" group:
I think this exchange from our Tolkien friends says it best...
:>You know, Bryan, for somebody who complains about the quality of this

:
:Bryan's been an asshole for YEARS!
:Come ON people! The Browns gave up 500 yards in 2 games to Jamal Lewis.
Someone gets it. Thank you.
Creative "rubbing it in" is always preferable to the all-caps brigade
that apparently hasn't passed 4th-grade spelling.
Sadly, some people (DoublEE, for example) enjoy team-specific newsgroups
mostly because they can talk lots of smack without ever hearing any
back, as they lack either the sack or the creativity to post elsewhere.
*shrug*
By the way, the original work "..ownership change" was not mine. I
shared it, because I thought it was funny (it is).. but I didn't write
it, myself.
For what it's worth, before 1996 and all the demonizing done by a lot of
hypocritical whiners, I rooted for the Browns against everyone but the
Redskins. I was rooting for them yesterday. My best friend is a
freakin' Browns fan. If the Ravens can't get in from the AFC, I want
the Browns to get in. But.. hey.. you go right on ahead and just lump
me in with the "Browns haters". It's really up to you, after all.
Have a great holiday.. and good luck in the draft. If you need a CB,
take DeAngelo Hall.

At least the all-caps brigade doesn't pretend to be anything more than a
troll.

A quick check of Google shows your troll exploits in many groups. You just
lack the balls to own up to your actions.

Oh good comeback. Apparently I've picked the wrong person to have a
discussion based on real facts...you can't provide any. Time to move
on...if "time for your nap" references is the best you can do than I'm
afraid you're overmatched son.
Hmmm.. "Very touching" and "*sob*" are examples of a discussion based on

I'm trying to dumb it down so even *you* can understand.
Just a reminder, you been forgetting to sign your posts "idiot" lately. Now
that was a classic! ROTFL
:I'm trying to dumb it down so even *you* can understand.
If you are incapable of a discussion, just say so.
Repeated ad hominem attacks with no basis in fact, such as the Usenet
standard of some variation of "I'm smarter than you." (see above), are
not only boring, they're generally false.
