Is anyone using VoIP to make LD phone calls from their computer?
(pc->phone, not pc->pc)

I'm getting sick of .07/minute - at least I think that's what Primus
charges. I'm only making domestic calls.

Any cheaper alternatives?

Aliant Flat Rate Canada, Sprint .05/min, that's just two of the top of my
head....stop turfing the junk mail for about a week and a half and you will
probably come up with about 5 more.

Oh, and I believe Primus offers VoIP LD as well.

I switched to:

http://www.onlinetel.com/callingareas/callanytime.htm

Yes you have to dial a 10 diget number first but the low rates
certainlt outway that inconvience.

ONE LOW RATE of just 3.9 CENTS PER MINUTE to Canada
Call ANYTIME, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Call ANYWHERE in Canada (4.9 cents to the United States)
Those rates apply to your land based phone and your cell. One plan
applies to all you phones.
PLUS...
NO activation fees
NO switching telephone companies

I call Austraila and their rate is 0.059. With EastLink it used to
cost me $5.+ for 10 minutes and now the cost is .59.

ot
NO monthly or network administration fees

www.onesuite.com is the least expensive i've found. It's been my
exclusive long distance service for several years without trouble.

if you do conference calls check out www.freeconference.com . this is
such an incredibly good deal it seems too good to be true but it is
true because i've arranged several dozen conferences with it and it
works great.
