This was covered a few months ago, but here again is an advertisement:

The Desktop Publishing Digest (dtp-l@yalevm) has been up & running
since late February. Co-moderated by yours truly (Glenn Fleishman
of Yale University) and Jeff Wasilko (of Rochester Institute of Technology),
the digest covers the care and feeding of desktop publishers. Discussions
range over all subjects of interest: use of programs, such as Quark Xpress,
Aldus PageMaker, and Adobe Illustrator; development and conversion of
fonts to and from formats across platforms; the availability and necessity
of equipment and software; and some wide discussions on topics of graphic
design and publishing.

The digest is produced by concatenating incoming submissions from our
readers. These submissions are organized by category & indexed in the
header allowing rapid access to topics of interest. The digest is sent
out via a listserver once a week or as warrants (30K maximum transmissions).
We're about to send issue 20. You'd like to subscribe? Here's how:

Method 1. Using your system's "tell" or "send" command to send a one-line
message to a user at another location, send the message:
subscribe dtp-l First_name Last_name
to: listserv@yalevm [bitnet] or @yalevm.ycc.yale.edu [internet]

Method 2. Mail message. Using your system's mail system (Quickmail users
should create a form with ONLY A SUBJECT FIELD and no other text), send
a one-line message to listserv@yalevm or @yalevm.ycc.yale.edu saying:
subscribe dtp-l First_name Last_name

Method 3. Both of these methods failed for you? Send mail to me at
glenn_f...@yccatsmtp.ycc.yale.edu or fleglei@yalevm asking to be
added to the list. Please include your correct pathway and account
name as well as your full name (first and last) for the list.

We welcome submissions from anyone anywhere.

Digest are archived regularly at sumex-aim.stanford.edu (36.44.0.6) available
through anonymous ftp at ./info-mac/digest/dtp... Back issues through
number 17 are there now. (10-to-17 are available in Mac retrievable form
only.)

Send us feedback anytime. Glenn Fleishman, Yale U. Printing Service
