I personally think Keanu Reeves can't act his way out of paper sack! I
can't imagine anyone actually paying him to do Shakespeare! He keeps
getting these choice roles (Much ado about nothing, Little Budda, Dracula
(particularly awful) and the list goes on). I think he is just a box
office draw and that's it. I apologize to all the Keanu fans out there,
it's just my opinion...

P.S. I just rented 4 weddings and a funeral, does anyone else think that
Andie MacDowell (sp?) is also a horrendous actress?

well, i hear that he HAS ADMITTED THAT HE HAS AN ACCENT PROBLEM...

AND IS SEEKING PROFESSIONAL HELP!! ;)

so that he doesn't make a boob of himself as hamboy.

I predict that it will be a huge, surprising (for you evil doubters)
success & that KR will end up doing Ham on screen for Kenneth
Brannnaaaagggh (with whom he has already worked).

You know, like Keanu was excellent in Little Buddah EXCEPT that sometimes
he slipped into an imitation of "Apu" on the Simpsons...most offending
line: "Why are they so thin and naked!?" (Imagine Apu's inflection
delivering the line, "Mr. Simpson, do not offer my god a peanut!)

He'll get it.

Yes, yes and yes! Did you ever notice that every character she
has played is the same??? It's like watching the same woman in
different settings. I'd hate to see her attempt Shakespere.
Ugh!

Yes! I agree... I don't see how anyone can get past Hugh Grant's
or Andie's bad teeth....I just couldn't stand to watch and wanted
to give them the name of a good dentist. acting just as bad.

Have to agree with you on that one, Jen. A straw poll of all my friends has
come to the conclusion that "Four Weddings and a Funeral" is fabulously funny
movie brought down by a bad actress. I was particularly found of the gay
couple as well as Scarlet. They are, however, working on a sequel. Hopefully
Hugh Grant's character will have wisely divorced Andie by then.

Love,
John

Did we see the same movie?
