Since REXX/Windows is now available, I hope some of you are interested in the
REXX Symposium, and I encourage you to share the following:

The program committee decided to repost this, in case some of you want to
participate and did not see the original announcement a few months ago.
The deadline for speakers and topics is Dec. 1.

Announcement and Call for Participation

REXX Symposium for Developers and Users
3-5 May 1992
Loews Annapolis Hotel
Annapolis, Maryland

The REXX Symposium provides a forum for information and ideas and
an opportunity to interact personally with others interested in
advancing the use of REXX to perform computing tasks.

The symposium consists of plenary sessions, parallel sessions, and
poster sessions for contributed papers, status reports, review talks
and summary talks. Presentations focus on using REXX on a wide
variety of computing platforms and operating systems. Of particular
interest are unique applications, REXX tools and function libraries,
REXX interfaces with other languages, user support, and education.
The symposium promotes the exchange of technical ideas concerning
systems, techniques, ideas, or initiatives using REXX. Author Mike
Cowlishaw will be present and participate in the sessions. We
anticipate that writers of all known REXX implementations will
participate.

Abstracts of proposed contributions should be clear and approximately one
page long. Talks should be 20 to 45 minutes. A paper may be
submitted to serve as a poster session only (that is, pages of
paper pinned to a wall to be read individually).

Please send the abstract by 1 December 1991 or via e-mail to
