when you set encoding to "auto select", IE6 sometimes fails to detect the
right encoding and set it to utf-7 (even not listed in encoding types !!)
as a result, the page cannot be displayed correctly (all images are broken)
and a (or several) javascript error occur
you can test this on http://www.ximeralabs.com/ for example
very strange (could produce the error on windows 2000 as well as nt4)
so, i disabled the auto select stuff until a patch is provided
