To paraphrase a trite saying: "With sympathy like yours, who needs
enemies?" At best, your comment in this matter is foolish and
insensitive. Even though I have never desired to change my gender, I
know some folks who do (or did)...and I believe they sincerely yearn
to become a member of the opposite sex.
Of course, the Amerikan gender nonsense is perpetrated by maintaining
separate restrooms for males and females...thus created this non-issue
of transgenders who really aren't welcome in either restroom. We
should, instead, have uni-sex restrooms everywhere, that lock while a
single occupant is using it. This would eliminate any issue over
whether a male or female can use a particular restroom.
