How can you folks who say that Blink182 rule, take your selves seriously?
You sit here and rave about them like they actually have any musical merit.
It cracked me up when I saw their video poking fun at boy bands and other
top 40 pop bands. I think you all fail to realize that Blink is just a "boy
band" for pre-puber boys with no hair on their sacks to speak of. Remember,
Green Day were once the poster boys for punk, and what the hell have they
done lately. Not alot. The novelty will wear off, and Blink will be just
another casualty of the pre-teen music crowd. Do yourselves a favor and
find something with a little more substance, not just stupid videos without
even a hint of irony.

But you see, buddy boy, SOME PEOPLE liked blink (and greenday for that matter)
BEFORE they were a novelty to the everyday preteen music crowd... that is where
you are wrong about alot of things... Greenday fans are still there and
greenday still does PLENTY it just isnt in the limelight anymore....Blink may
do the exact same once the crowds wear down- they've only had one tiny part of
their work as a band be famous so you can never really say.

Do yourself a favor and find something to spend your time on with a little more
substance, not just telling other people how to live their lives and what they
should listen too.

Yuck. I hate men with hairy ball sacks. Men with hairy ball sacks are like men
with hairy backs---nasty! If you think all men have hairy sacks you need to see
more men naked, Mr.

The members of Green Day have been doing small shows and touring/recording with
thier other bands. They are also working on a new album and have played
"Warning" (a new song) in at least 2 shows.

Unless you count benefit shows, concerts, side projects, and working on a new
album not a lot, you're mistaken.

Jeez youre making it seem as if blink just all of a sudden started
making funny videos. theyve always been doing this. it just so happens
that now they are popular and get picked on more by people like you and
some dumbass people who cant write reviews worth shit
coughcoughrollingstonecoughcough. if you consider blink to be a boy
band, than you are right for that matter. but isnt every group of guys
singing and playing instruments a boy band? what you may think the
definition of a boy band is a group of fags in stupid outfits selling
out and not writing their own songs or being able to play any
instruments. many people think that blink-182 are sell outs. its not
their fault for coming off as sell outs. they are just trying to make a
living just like any other person. they do not only attract a 'pre
teen' music crowd. even people in their late twenties like blink, i
dont really think that people over twenty are teenagers, do you? We
actually dont really rave about them. lately all ive seen on this
message board are messages posted by dumbfucks like you who have
nothing good to say. i take myself very seriously when it comes to
listening to good music. most of the people on this message board have
liked blink all along since their first album came out. i know you
could give a rat's ass about all the responses your going to get from
posting a message like this. you were probably just bored and wanted to
piss a bunch of true blink fans off. well congratulations, you didnt
piss me off, but you just made yourself look like an ass.

Geez, looks like I pissed a few people off. I guess I understand some of
the beefs that a few of you had with my prior comments. I know how it feels
to have a band that you, and only you, know about and follow, and absolutely
think are the shit. Then that band gets a whiff of stardom, and they change
into something that you may not quite agree with, but you still kinda dig.
Although you carried the torch for this band before anyone else you know,
they turn into a monster and soon everyone is claiming that they are the
number one fan. This has hapened to me on so many occasions it is
sickening. I met Limp Bizkit in 1995. All my friends thought I was a
crackhead when I told them how cool they were. Now my 14 yearold niece is a
"bizkette" and it makes me sick.
But as far as a boy band who happens to know three chords (tops), and
sings, all I have to say is, "No I would not like fries with that."

actually....Blink has songs with up to 5 or 6 chords....they also have some
awesome guitar riffs on Cheshire Cat and Dude Ranch

The number of chords in a song doesn't really matter. Eddie Van Halen is
one of the most taleted guitar players, and has written some of the best
songs ever, and he said that most of the best songs he wrote and the most
popular ones were all three chord songs.
