Some know about my proposal for "Hetero Shame Week", which I first instigated some time in August 1998.
The concept was my outraged reaction to the publication of a full-page anti-gay advertisement in our two major,
mainstream (read "heterocentric") newspapers: The S.F. Examiner and The S.F. Chronicle.

But only now have I given that episode its own permanent residence on my website. So those who'd like
to review, or view for the first time, my "Hetero Shame" essay, can now go here:

www.gay-bible.org/write/3_shame.htm

It features links to the advertisement in question, and letters to the editor by other folks in reply to this matter.
