Oh, yeah, uh-huh. And did you know that the NRA controls Ovaltine? And
that Ross Perot's United We Stand organization has complete domination over
the entire Kool-Aid line? As a point of interest, during the 1960's, the
Weather Underground owned and operated the Bosco plant.

*sigh*
Perhaps I am being naive to respond to the Snapple/KKK theory seriously,
but since I am a robot of Limbaugh, and must do his every bidding, I shall
reply.

The KKK Konnection was based on a K in a circle that appears on the bottle, and
a picture that appears on the Ice Tea Flavor that some hysterions claim to
be a slave ship.

As most rational people know, the K indicates that Snapple is Kosher (So drink
up!) and the picture on the Ice Tea is clearly a picture of the Boston Tea
Party (get it, get it?).

I'm sure these rumors about Snapple have nothing at all to do with the fact
that Snapple is advertised by the Rush himself.....

Now, what's this I heard about R. Gere and a gerbil? Would a guy that married
a supermodel have to resort to gerbils? I'm really stumped about this one...

No, but they do sponsor the Rush Limbaugh show.

Nope its not true, this rumor has already been posted and torn
apart in this group and in alt.forklore.urban, people think that
because of the Kosher "K" on the bottles, and the on the
Ice Tea bottle has a picture of the Boston Tea Party, but lots pf
people think that it is a slave ship.

Both of these are wrong.

No. Everybody knows that Snapple (tm) is owned by the Heritage Foundation.

here's the deal:
the rumor is based upon the factthat there is a small circled "k" on
the label: a few bored and/or ignorant slobs have decided that this is
a "code" indicating KKK involvement (don't ask me why), in the same
way that Marlboro was once believed to contain subtle hints of KKKness
(note the shape of the red on top of an upright pack).

In fact, the owners are NOT KKK in the least: they are nice Jewish
businessmen.
A "k" in a circle IS a universal symbol.
It means "kosher".

There's also the fact that Snapple advertises on Rush Limbaugh's show. Some
people think that this is "evidence" that Snapple's owners are lunatic
fringe right wing extremists. Guilt by association. I'm no fan of Limbaugh,
but I think this theory that Snapple's owners are a bunch of fanatics is
ridiculous. Also, it's fun to buy Snapple when you're with some people
that are into this political correctness thing. They gave you strange looks
and say "you're not *really* gonna buy that are you?"

wait a minute...one lousy minute...
Snapple earned its incredible fame on Seinfeld...it's what Jerry, Kramer,
and everyone else on the show drinks. Seinfeld, I thought was politically
correct...are you NOW going to tell me SEINFELD is connected to the KKK.
Horrors.

(listen folks...lets get this back to rumors....)

Actually, Howard Stern's TV Show for WWOR had Snapple as a major
sponsor, and he did plugs every show, which would cancel out
any use on Seinfeld. :P

Who is Howard Stern, and why is the book he wrote so much in demand?
I've been seeing articles about his book everywhere but have no idea
what he does that makes him so popular.

Now, Seinfeld, that's another matter. Everyone in my office watches
it, and it's a major topic of conversation every Friday morning ...

Actually, I have heard rumors that Howard Stern and H Ross Perot are one

I hear that the American government, in yet another genetic engineering
fiasco, has cross-bred a spider with a reindeer, producing an eight-legged
version of the same. Know anything about this, Kirk? ;-)

Scott, you're going to have to be more specific if you want a serious
answer. Did you hear that they produced an eight-legged reindeer, or that
they produced an eight-legged spider? Unless you tell us what you meant
by "version of the same" we can't help you.
