Because of the Web's decentralised nature, one of the most
important functions for web-authors is to spot valuable
resources online, and link them in some way that will make
them easier for others to find.

So ideally, web-authors should have resource-pages already
prepared on every topic that interests them, so that any
new nugget they stumble upon can be quickly added in an
appropriate place. (Timelines are especially flexible for
this.)
