Yada yada yada. Where, or where, in your oh-so-eloquent essay to you show ANY empathy for the persecution of queers by Muslim terrorist regimes? My God, Starhawk, must you blast heterocentered tripe right here, in our own GAY venues?
Did you compose this essay? You did? Then why on Gaia's green earth did you not incorporate the EQUAL, OFTEN GREATER, brutality, perpetrated by Muslim terror, including perhaps by the very same WOMEN for whom your heart bleeds, expecting us to do likewise?
Are you one of those typical apologists who slips out of his corner with the goosey excuse, "Gay persecution? Well, of course, that goes without saying."
Yes, remain SILENT about persecution against sexual minorities in Islam, while tooting your little horn about how so many HETEROS are tormented. Don't you think you need to show some sort of concern for how Muslim cultures SEVERELY PERSECUTE sexual minorities, even worse then they do women? If not, why the hell are you spouting all sorts of pro-hetero tripe...expecting QUEERS to get all tear-jerky over the suffering of so many HETEROS?
Been there, done that. Why not learn to update your outcries to include righteous rage against homophobia? Do you hear me, at all?
