ABSOLUTLY EVERY 15 YEAR OLD DOS SOFTWARE PACKAGE THAT EVER RAN ON A 640K
XT IS FASTER, MORE EFFICIENT, MORE USEFUL, EASIER, (MORE ENTERTAINING
(IF APPLICABLE)), BLISSFULLY EASY TO INSTALL, AND LEAVES PLEANTY OF FREE
SPACE ON THE 20 MB HARD DISK (If the user bothered to install it (or
even buy a HD) instead of simply running it off of floppy) AND JUST
PLAIN ALL AROUND BETTER THAN ANY SOFTWARE EVER DEVELOPED OR COMPILED FOR
LINUX RUNNING ON MODERN HARDWARE.

LINUX DEVELS ARE INCONCEIVABLY BAD.

DOS does not run properly on modern hardware. =~(

Easily done as Linux is not a monopoly, and as a long term Linux user,
I couldn't care what OS you run. Use what works for you.

Install DOS on a DEC Alpha for me will you ?
How about a Sun Spark station ?
Mac ?

No ... oh well, I guess you really meant that DOS
is easily installed on the INTEL X86 PC ?

Let Alan use his DOS OS then...

I'll stay with my Linux, Apache, SendMail, Qmail, Perl,
GCC,C++,ZEBRA,ROUTED, Samba, etc. etc.
It is clear to see that Alan should not be using Linux anyways. He is safer
with DOS.

DOS?? You can't compare DOS to anything in today's times. Be honest, people
don't use dos because they want the eye candy and the mulitmedia functions
of today's os. Whether it be free or proprietery quit trying to compare
apples to oranges. I use Windows primarily because I don't want to invest
the time into Linux. Linux hasn't proved to me that it can support my
functions. Not saying they are not available but the work involved in
getting them and using them is beyond the time I am willing to spend. I can
achieve the same goal in Windows much faster. But this is mainly due to my
knowledge in Windows.

But DOS?? I don't think so. Wake up and smell the coffee. If DOS was that
good then Microsoft wouldn't have abandoned it.
