I agree with Ralph's editorial remarks.

We don't need any politicians to tell us that nuke
testing and stockpiling is a crime against humanity,
wherever and whenever it occurs.

Why waste bandwidth on the opinions of a bunch of
old farts in some fancy DC building made in the Roman
Imperial mold, their campaigns bought and paid for
by their big money sponsors?

We have a long enough track record by now to know
that we owe the survival and long term health of
the USA to the hard work of folks in many walks of
life, many of them serving on the front lines, above
and beyond the call of duty.

Politicians don't get all or even most of the credit
for the fact that we're still around to even vote
on the issues of the day. Left to their own devices,
they'd have long ago led us down a dead end path of
no return. Oblivious numbskulls have that propensity,
nevermind their protestations to the contrary.

This is a democracy we're working for here, not some
secretive Cold Warrior cult with the CIA at the center,
calling all the shots. The USA needs to seriously police
against the stockpiling, testing and proliferation of
nuclear weapons. Period. Treaty or no treaty.

If politicians want to stay behind while the USA moves
on without them, sucking up to their behind-the-scenes
masters, let them -- it's a free country. We weren't
really looking to them for leadership anyway.

There's a lot more interesting and useful stuff we can
do with television and the internet than watching and
listening to a lot of boring political rhetoric on
C-SPAN and CNN.
