The following is an article I've copied from a lesbian/gay newsgroup,
and is intended for you young folks who are Christian, and also gay or
bisexual (or curious). This is to assure you that there is nothing
wrong with you, just because you have sexual and affectionate
attractions to someone of the same sex. (In fact, I believe that Jesus
Himself is a homosexual.) You are a whole, complete person whom Our
Father does not judge based on your sexual preference...that is only a
Satanic lie conjured up by false Christian teachers, many of whom
operate within fundamentalist and evangelical sects. Enjoy the read:

Sodomy was destroyed for inhospitality.

Genesis 19:
1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the
gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed
himself with his face toward the ground;

5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men
which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may
know them.

Now lets see the next occurrence of to "know them".

Judges 19:
22 Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the
city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at
the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying,
Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.

Now for the explanation as to what "know them" means.

Judges 20:
4 And the Levite, the husband of the woman that was slain, answered
and said, I came into Gibeah that belongeth to Benjamin, I and my
concubine, to lodge.
5 And the men of Gibeah rose against me, and beset the house round
about upon me by night, and thought to have slain me: and my
concubine have they forced, that she is dead.

The first thing that needs to be mentioned about the
Old Testament with respect to homosexuality, most all
scholars refer to Lev 18:24 "Defile not ye yourselves
in any of these things: for in all these the nations
are defiled which I cast out before you:" The Levitican
laws have to do with cleanliness, property rights
(women and children were property of the father or the
husband in the case of girl, Deu 22:28-30), with a bit
of ritual one must not partake in, because it is idolatry,
and does not help to build the nation.

Matthew Henry says:"
III. A law against unnatural lusts of sodomy and bestiality,
sins not to be named nor thought of without the utmost
abhorrence imaginable, Le 18:22-23." What is the utmost
abhorrence in the unnatural lusts of sodomy and bestiality?
The next verse in the bible Lev 18:24 (above) tells what the
utmost abhorrence is, the nations are defiled. The nation was
not a country it was the children of Israel (Gen 12:2, Exo 1:7)
If a man lie with a man as with a woman or with a beast he
defiled the nation by not building the nation he would be
spilling the seed (Gen 38:8-10). Plus if a man lie with a man
(the way a marriage was consummated back then was by
intercourse, then the property right of the girl went from the
father to the husband), who owned who, did the man own himself
or did the man that had intercourse with him now own him. It
brought confusion and was inconvenience (Lev 18:23, Rom 1:28).
The word abomination here is tow`ebah in this case is as
unclean, and ritual.

(Unclean as in:
Deu 23:
10 If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason
of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go
abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:)

Abomination in this case is talking about men lying with
men for the idolatrous ritual of sodomy with a priest
for a bountiful harvest, as shown by its position right
after giving seed to Molech Lev 18:21. People like to
take these verses out of context, even though most have
been taught you cannot take the bible out of context.

They had just came out of Egypt, where they were (supposedly)
owned, they need to re-establish ownership of family (woman
and children were property) and nonconfusing sexual
relationships that followed the property rights of the men.
Also to provide clean ways of having sex because they had
also (supposedly) just come out of a plague ridden infected
place. "These have been the abominations of the former
inhabitants, Lev 18:24,27. Therefore it was necessary that
these laws should be made, as antidotes and preservatives
from the plague are necessary when we go into an infected
place. And therefore they should not practise any such things.
(The wickedness of Sodom, was not homosexuality but
inhospitality, Gen 19:1 & 5, Judges 19:22, Judges 20:4-5).

Now you know what the bible really says about sodomy,
because as I say there is no sin of homosexuality in
the bible. If fact there is homosexual love in the bible,
(1 Sam 18:1-4, 1 Sam 20:17, 20:30, 20:41, 2 Sam 1:26).

Romans 1:24 "Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through
the
lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between
themselves:"
What is the uncleanness the bible is talking about.
To put it very briefly it is the Levitican laws on cleanness, as
menstruation, the spilling of the seed , giving seed in idolatries to
Molech (the fire-god, of the Ammons common in Canaanite, Syrian and
Arab tribes Calf faced, hands stretched out to receive). Seed is not
only sperm but children born to a father. Human sacrifices were given
to Molech in the form of putting a baby in the hands of Molech statues
and killing them (2 King 16:3). Also at the time there was a practice
that a man could pay a priest to have sodomy with him in a idolatrous
ritual for a bountiful harvest. "Ungodliness and uncleanness are
frequently joined, 1Th 4:5 as are the knowledge of God and purity".
Deu 23: 10 If there be among you any man, that is not clean by

Romans 1:25 "Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped
and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for
ever. Amen." Who changed the truth-The true worship of God. Into a
lie-False, abominable idolatries. And worshipped-Inwardly. And
served-Outwardly.

Roman 1:26 "26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections:
for even their women did change the natural use into that which is
against nature: What is the natural use of a woman? It is having
vaginal sex with her only when she is not menstruating (at which
time she was unclean and set aside). What was the vile affection
and that which was against nature? "Ungodliness and uncleanness are
frequently joined, 1Th 4:5 as are the
knowledge of God and purity.
Who changed the truth-The true worship of God." If a woman was
practacing birth control (sodomy) not using the natural use of a
woman (not considered clean), and not keeping god in mind to build
the nation,(Lev 18:24) she had vile affections.

Romans 1:27 "And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of
the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men
working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that
recompence of their error which was meet." The men left the natural
use of a woman. Again what is the natural use of a woman? It is
having vaginal sex with her only when she is not menstruating.
If you are not having sex with a woman to have a baby it is not
keeping god in mind, and is spilling the seed, not building the
nation. (Gen 9:1, Gen 38:8-10, Lev 18:24) "Receiving the just
recompense of their error-Their idolatry being punished with that
unnatural lust, which was as horrible a dishonour to the body,
as their idolatry was to God." The unnatural use of the woman,
unnatural lust. "Wherefore-One punishment of sin is
from the very nature of it, as here (that of being unclean);
another, as in Rom 1:24, is from vindictive justice." Not
keeping god in mind, not building the nation. Receiving the
error in themselves of not building the nation. The idolatry
was that sodomy was used to to worship gods of harvest (priests
were paid back then to have sodomy with them for a bountiful
harvest, it was idolatry), the lust was in their heart to go
against god. As in:
Romans 7:
7 What shall we say then? is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had
not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except
the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all
manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
9 For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment
came, sin revived, and I died.
10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be
unto death.
11 For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and
by it slew me.
Romans 6:
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal
life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The death and blood they talk about is not the body
but of the soul. (Lev 20:13)

Romans 1:28 "And even as they did not like to retain God in their
knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those
things which are not convenient;" To do those things which are not
convenient. Even by the time of writing
of Romans sodomy was just
thought of as things which are not convenient, and not keeping god
in mind was to not help towrd the building of the nation.
{To retain, or to know better. A reprobate, or not caring about
gods laws.)

This is a misinterpretation:

Cor 6:
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the
kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor
idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of
themselves with mankind,

Malakos used to refer to masturbation until about the 15th or 16th
century. (See URL below) And since Sodom was not destroyed for
homosexuality (which is a 12th century construct), but for
inhospitality
the word arsenokoit cannot be sodomite or homosexuality, but should
be broken down into its original two word meaning.
arsen + koite which translates to "a male, conceive" or sodomy.
A sin to the building of the nation, the spilling of the seed, sodomy.

" nor (oute) effeminate, (malakos) nor (oute) abusers of themselves
with mankind, (arsenokoit)." (arsen + koite)

Translated in the original meaning would be:

nor masterbators, nor those that have sodomy, (shall inherit the
kingdom
of God).

Isaiah 26:13-15 They are now dead, they live no more; those
departed spirits do not rise. You punished them and brought
them to ruin; you wiped out all memory of them.

Why will their souls die, because they spilled the seed Gen 38:8-10

Deu 23:
23:1 He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut
off, shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD.
2 A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even
to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of
the
LORD.

The bible says nothing about homosexuality only sodomy.
