On the ASUS-A7A266 motherboard you are incapable of completing the
installation after the kernel is loaded in memory because Woody fails
to detect the PS/2 keyboard. The error message is "AT Timeout: no
keyboard detected".
Here's the work around:
Go to the bios and disable USB support. This motherboard has the
capability of presenting USB devices like mouse and keyboard as
regular non-usb mouse and keyboard. ASUS calls this feature 'usb
legacy support'. Somehow when USB support is enabled (in the bios) the
installation Woody fails to detect the keyboard.
Then install Woody -- no special install 'Boot:' prompt command is
required
