I'm not sure how this happened but I now get an error message on boot-up -
"xmnt.exe 2002 program not found. Skipping Autocheck." I've read that
xmnt.exe is related to the checkdisk function. Does anyone know whether I
can
reinstall just this file? I have done a reinstall of XP but an still getting
the same message. Since XP appears to be working, it seems that I can get by
without it but I'm not sure that I want to skip Autocheck. Thanks for any
assistance.

The file appears to belong to Partition Magic. See
