Anyone know what updreg.exe does ? It is loaded at startup and was
installed when I inistalled LiveWare2k.
Can I get rid of it? I hate auto start programs that I don't know anything
about...

I think it keeps track if you registered your product. I just got a SB
Live! and during install I was asked to register. I clicked the "remind me
later button".
After install I noticed UpdReg.exe was being loaded during boot. I then
decided to register so I clicked on the "Register" shortcut that was put on
my desktop during install. When registration was complete the shortcut was
automatically removed and UpdReg.exe was no longer launched. This is on
Win98, by the way.
