Hey, this doesn't make sense.

See the clip of the attached message. Doug mentions "my board of
directors in Sigma Research". Is Sigma Research Doug's company?

If this were true, how could:
(1) Doug rant for years that Snyder was secretly working for the
casinos, when the SIGMA Report is a clear solicitation for training
casinos in how to catch counters.
(2) How could Grant now sue for lost revenue since he experienced
countermeasures, when his company Sigma Research offered these specific
services?

I don't get it.

2. Once again, Anthony (Tony) Campione was a member
of my board of directors in Sigma Research. Tony also
was a student of my school and system, and a team
member and a business associate. He was not, in
any way, (at least at that time) associated with any other
system, school or person. (I have most of Mr. Campione's
original team records, vouchers, affidavits, error sheets
and agreements to prove that fact.)

Doug Grant says:

Are you saying the Sigma Report was designed to teach casinos about card
counting? Most thought it was attempting to tell the truth about card
counting or a way for card counters to be able to continue to play a
winning game. At least Max Rubin thought so when he said as much in his
sworn testimony. But to answer your question, you are dreaming again. And
you should know that I sold all of my stock in the Sigma Company when the
schools were shut down. Long after I relinquished ownership in that
company, a couple of former associates thought they could research card
counting and provide the correct information to the casinos FOR FREE!
Their idea was that if the casino executives ever found out how much their
countermeasures were costing them, then they would refrain from using so
many countermeasures against so many people. The game was dead anyway they
reasoned, at least allow the casino executives the right to learn the truth
so they would stop the cheating. They thought the card counter catcher
detectives’ agencies were lying to the casino executives. I participated
in the Sigma Report, I helped write it, and I was not paid by anyone to do
so. Nor did I nor any other student or team members solicit nor accept any
casino funds for any reason whatsoever. NO CHARGE was carried out nor
solicited for the work. We obviously had other ulterior reasons and the
casinos knew that Sigma was a former card counting company. The casinos
appreciated the gesture, but continued their course of cheating
countermeasures although the Sigma Report repeatedly warned them such a
course would result in a greater cost that not.

Nevertheless, I must thank you for bringing it up. In the Campione case
the casino lawyers tried to hide it. They knew that it proved we appraised
the casinos of the true card counting situation long before they hired so
many card counter catchers and paid contract money to "selected" detective
agencies.

Moreover, most of the "honest" people in the casino industry hailed it as
the most informative and well-written work on the connection between card
counters and casinos. You should read it more carefully.

Too bad Solinas, no money, no funds, no nothing. Just yet another attempt
to stop the casinos from cheating. You are singing my praises when you
admit I had something to do with the now famous Sigma Report, which I find
somewhat disquieting - but thank you anyway.

You see Solinas I have been through this before in two preceding lawsuits.
They checked my company meticulously, my history, my finances, my taxes, my
accounts and all of the companies that I owned stock in for the past 20
years. They threatened IRS, (then they found out I pay my taxes) and on it
went. Nevertheless, I won BOTH of those lawsuits and I am about to win
another. So you are going to have a hard time attempting to get anything
on me. I have been living in a fish bowl for many years because of the
courts and the lawyers. I have nothing to hide, but you certainly are
welcome to look as long as you do not libel me like you did in this post.

Also, so far I have avoided posting personal information such as your
finances and Snyder’s and Wong’s and the rest. But you and Goofy Ray are
entering into whole new playing field that I think I can exploit much
better than you and “da boys.” Whadda ya say, Michael me Boy’o - want to
play?

Also, you know the Sigma Report is copyrighted. Yet I can probably get
permission to allow you to post it, or I could get the permission and post
it myself. I think it would make fascinating reading.

Sigma Research Inc., has been closed for eight years. I have not been
involved with that company for about ten years. I also have owned stock
in several hundred other companies. At one time I actually owned stock in
a fund of casinos! I sold that stock long ago also, one time I purchased
stock in a chain of hospitals, and another time I owned stock in computer
companies, and once I owned stock in .......

Interesting reading, but still does not deter from the fact that card
counting can no longer beat real world casinos. Card counting is dead. It
should lay down.

BTW, were is Abdul?

There is a HUGE difference between just "owning stock" and being an
officer of a company. Especially the CEO of the company.

You've been clearly trying to downplay your involvement with Sigma
Research, since I exposed Sigma Research's attempted involvement in
counter catching services.

I can finish this sentence! ....A company that sold counter catching
services! In fact, you were the CEO!

Hmmm,

"Post your real name"

"Where do you play"

"What system do you play"

"We will send an 'independent' observer" (Must be Telman's night off)

Also:

Bomb a newsgroup so that no constructive discussion can take place

Doug, you're so easy to detest, it's laughable. A couple of months ago, I
posted here with all sincerity, that I hoped your lawsuit made the casinos
pay through the nose. But now we find out you tried to sell your services
as a counter catcher!? Die, maroon, die. In order to win your lawsuit
you're going to have to prove damages.

Those of us who can *and do* play with sufficient cover to *not* get
shuffled on are a threat to that half-billion, aren't we? All the casinos
have to do is to find a few of us who can testify that we have played in
the A/C casinos for 19 years without *ever* being pref shuffled, and your
case goes out the window, right? You have no damages except your own
incompetence!

I have been told from others, although I never thought it was fair to post
here, that you personally were a very poor player. That's why you were a
team leader, because you were a crappy player! I'm sure *you* as a counter
catcher, could catch *you* as a player. Well, I haven't had serious heat
since the early 80's at Resorts. You can't get a bet down. Guess what,
the Atlantic City casinos can *still* be beaten, even though they offer a
crappy game, and many of us *can* beat them.

I will name real casinos: The Sands, Ballys Park Place, Taj Mahal,
Claridge, Resorts. I have spread 1 to 30 or greater using 78 indices of a
common single level point count in each of those casinos within the last 2
years. Guess what! That is a winning game. I have *never* seen a
preferential shuffle in any of those casinos. I have been playing there
since 1978.

I will *not*: Allow you to watch my game.

I will *not*: Allow an independent observer to watch my game.

*You* are a despicable liar. You libel others all to further your own
interests. The BIG CON is over maroon. For you and your merry band of
scrotum lickers.

The great "Sigma Report." Doug Grant and Paul Yanessa both claimed
authorship. It turns out to be a pitch for counter catching services. I
finally agree with you and Klee. The BIG CON is over.

What a maroon,

Rusty Martin

Fact: Doug Grant claims authorship of the Sigma Report.
Fact: The Sigma Report offers casino consulting and counter catching services.
Conclusion: Doug Grant is a counter catcher.

Mike, I do believe it's true, based on what I've seen
here. I believe that Doug could rant for years, simply
based on his jealousy that Arnold Snyder has become
a respected expert -- consulted by casinos as well
as players as an expert witness -- while Grant's
attempt to do the same thing failed miserably. Simple
envy can explain the whole thing.

> (2) How could Grant now sue for lost revenue since he experienced

Anybody can sue for anything. But that doesn't mean that
he will get anything from his efforts other than a
motion to dismiss.

My understanding at the moment, based only upon internet
reading, is that Doug is running a con to charge people
$40,000 apiece to join a lawsuit. A couple of months
ago, I posted an explanation of how it is only costing
me a few hundred dollars to sue a casino. Included
in my explanation was something that every member of
the public should know: If no lawyer anywhere will take it on
contigency, DON'T pursue the case.

I was quickly overwhelmed w/ people claiming that
it costs millions to sue casinos, sorry, all I can
say is -- as I'm sure you know, Mike -- it DOESN'T!

I also believe Doug became jealous of his student Campione
for winning a big case (even though Campione never
got paid) & is now trying to hitch his wagon to
Campione's "star"since Campione is conveniently deceased
& no longer has legal protection against libel or just plain lies. The
trouble is, Campione had a real case -- he was cheated
& intimidated to the point of nearly fainting
on camera, while Doug is just plain greedy & bitter
that he lost his millions & is reduced to the status
of a cheap carpet tout.

These are my statements of belief, based on what
I have seen here. I may be wrong, & Doug may be
a great, warm-hearted guy, but I sincerely doubt
it. I believe he is torn up w/ hate & envy of
those who have done better at blackjack than
he has, instead of being inspired by their
example. --Leigh

Leigh has totally lost it! Why would ANYONE be jealous of
Arnold Snyder - he's a con-man whose con-games have been
exposed. Why should anyone envy him? And why would one of
the greatest experts on the game of blackjack envy a con-man
like Arnold Snyder? Pity him would be more like it.

Yada, yada, yada. The ridiculous speculations and outright
lies made on this newsgroup are absolutely unbelievable.

Keep 'em coming, it's like a comedy show to me!

Correction: the FORMER expert.

Correction: the only con job going on right now is paying $40,000 to file a
damages type of lawsuit.

Correction: The real comedy is the puppet show.

The Big Con of Doug Grant (aka: Counter Catcher, Huckster)
is OVER.

I will not respond to Puppets and Puppetmasters
