This article discusses how Cisco, as well as other high tech firms, have
employed a training program called "100% Proficiency Training, which is based
on -- stop me if you've heard this one before - the study tech developed by
that benevolent corporate visionary, L. Ron Hubbard.
But it gets more interesting than that.
The 100% Proficiency Training system was developed by a company called
"Effective Training Solutions." Based in Fremont, California, the firm is
owned and operated by one Ingrid Gudenas, scientologist success story.

educational wing of the multinational corporate religion we all know and love.

Why, this is odd. Why is Effective Training Solutions, the private company run
by Ingrid Gudenas, operating out of the same office as Applied Scholastics of
San Francisco? Applied Scholastics is a non-profit organization, and was even
mentioned in the IRS agreement. And yet, here it is, in the same office as
Effective Training Solutions. They even share a phone number.
Curiouser and curiouser ...
Oh well. At least working for the government pays off nicely for Ingrid and
Applied Sch0-- err, sorry, Effective Training Solutions. Here is a list of

Ingrid got nearly a quarter of a million dollars from the state of California!
I bet Ron would be very proud of her, however I suspect the good folks at the
IRS might be somewhat confused by the apparent interchangeability of her
