The Vicar helps Donna put a plackard with a holiday competition outside the
post office.
Vicar: Oh I might enter that
Donna: Are Vicars allowed to enter competitions?
Vicar: You'd be surprised what the clergy get up to
Donna: No I wouldn't, I'm a Windsor.

Kelly leaves the PO with Vic chasing after, she's not speaking to him.

Marlon & Kathy are getting the breakfasts ready for the new Tea Rooms early
opening. Betty's washing has gone missing:
Betty: Now where crime is concerned there are two culprits, The Dingles and
Eric Pollard. (Looking thoughtful) But Eric's never shown an interest in my
underwear before...
Marlon: Now, what do you know about Betty's undies Eric?
Eric: Absolutely nothing. I intend to keep it that way aswell.

Terry collects his washing from Kim and Steve. Steve says Kim thought he was
taking in washing.
Kim: No, Terry, the only thing Steve launders is money.
Terry asks Steve to join the rugby team. Kim is in a mood - she again
suggests harshly that he get a job.

Zak has the Quiz questions and is asking the family about various answers.
Paddy is worried about Zoe's car - he hopes Lisa can fix it.

Tara is still on her grand tour of HF property and asks Chris for the
figures on the quarry. She shares a few moments with Biff while chris gets
ready
Tara: So I haven't scared you off then
Biff: I don't scare easily

At the vet's Kelly has a moan about her dad. Paddy is challenged as to the
whereabouts of Zoe's car - Paddy is in a loaner - from the Dingles!

At HF, Kim walks into the office while hris & Tara are talking, and is asked
to leave by both of them.

Betty asks Zak where her washing is. He's none the wiser. Inga Golightly the
moobile librarian gives Betty forst look at the latest Jackie Collins (or
similar). Zak plots....

At the Quarry, Chris shows up Tara and is shouted at.

Will sees Zak hovering shiftily around the library. Inga has left the keys
in the ignition.... Zak sees.... he gets rid of Will (by talking about
Rugby) then steals the Library!!!!!!!!

In the Woolie, Kelly ignores Vic. Paddy is told by Lisa that Zoe's car will
cost £400 to fix as some work will have to be done in Hotton. Zoe arrives
and again challenges Paddy. He says the car is still being fixed but omits
to say how much it will cost.

Having stopped the library, Zak gets into the back to find various Quiz
answers. He is promptly bashed on the head by Inga, large book in hand.
Inga: The rules say a member can take out eight books, not the entire
library and the librarian with it!
Zak talks her 'round - he says he moved the library to a quiet place... Inga
has a sense of humour and sees the funny side of it. She helps him find the
answers and persuades him to join the library as a regular member.

At the Car Boot Sale, Mandy is trying to sell Kim's dresses, while Betty is
all over the stalls looking for her missing washing. The vicar goes over to
Eric's stall and calculates that he owes 2 years arrears on the Church hall
storage space...
Mandy's goods are too good for the Car Boot sale... her stall is shut down
by Trading Standards officers, despite the best efforts of the Vicar and Zoe
to vouch for the source of Mandy's stock.

Donna tries to talk to her Dad, but is ignored. She is also ignored by
Kelly, who isn't speaking to anyone. Vic says Viv is coming home.

Betty enters a competition for a foreign holiday (REFERENCE TO ANOTHER
"DINGLES DOWN UNDER" STYLE XMAS VIDEO????)

Rugby practice: what a shower! Zak trips up Marlon, Will isn't allowed to
join in and Paddy goes to the pub after a few minutes... Eric arrives to
rescue Marlon - he's needed at work and Zak was about to land him one.

Biff and Tara are at his place. He worries that Marlon or Will will disturb
them. They decide to find somewhere more private. She puts the Chauffeur cap
on his head:
Biff: What are you doing?
Tara: Just reminding you you're still on the job!
Cue explosion. Tara tries to convince Biff that Linda was in the past... He
won't listen... Tara suggests that he's playing some sick revenge game. GET
OUT GET OUT. Tara: This is about you- you're feeling guilty because you're
enjoying it just as much as me!
