I missed the first minute or two, something to do with Kim telling Kelly to
do something against Chris' wishes.

Mandy is all over Paddy the hero. Betty interupts with Paddy's mail.

Tara and Chris attend the press opening of Tony's assault course. The
demonstrators fail to turn up in time so it's a bit of a disaster. Tara
doesn't look like she's been through the events of yesterday - the wonders
of tv :-)

Dee starts the Wine Bar home delivery service. Biff hands out leaflets on
his bike.

Kathy wants Pollard to teach Sam to read so he won't be able to take
advantage of him so much. She invites Sam to dinner as part of her plan.

Outhwaite goes to see Pollard trying to sell some stuff to raise money to
sort out the farm. Pollard plays it cool saying he doesn't really want the
stuff but he'll take it off his hands.

Kelly goes to see Mandy and tells her she is going to tell Chris about the
baby tonight after apologising for the way she has been behaving.

Paddy arrives at Outhwaite's, who tries to pay some of his vet's bill with
cash he has just got from Pollard, who is emptying the house. Paddy knows
it's a ripp off and tries to tell Outhwaite, who will have none of it.

As Biff is handing out leaflets for the Wine Bar at Home Farm Kim is
leaving. He offers her one, which she turns down saying "I have a 5 star
meal waiting for me". Biff says " I hope you're paying as Steve is a little
strapped for cash after his little deal with Alex Oakwell". [Big hint for
future storyline ? ]

Chris has the champagne on ice and has ordered a carry out from Pollard's
all ready for the romantic evening with the dreaded Kelly.

Sam enjoys his dinner wityh Kathy, who then gets him to help Alice with her
bedtime story. She seems to have taken the role of teaching Sam to read
herself.

Kelly eventually blurts it out. "I'm pregnant". Chris asks if
congratulations are in order, to which Kelly says something like "if you
pay for the abortion it'll be all right". "Why me ?", says Chris, cool as
you like. And that was it.

All in all not bad after last night's extravaganza.

Bye 'til tomorrow,
Jonno
