In one of the NYC bars through which Blade went to stalk
some vampires, there was a Japanese group playing on stage,
consisting of 2 Japanese women in sailor suits
yelling some kind of Japanese rap to a heavy industrial beat.
Anybody know the name of this band?

I was under the impression that the band was Cibo Mato, but I may be
mistaken

I've been hearing Cibo Matto. I've been hearing Shonen Knife. I've been
hearing _____. Many arguements against any band has been: "But they
don't look like ______!" Remember, this is the movies, there is no
stipulation that says because you use someone's music, that it is them
on stage. Or for that matter, that those on stage are even singing.
Movies are fantasy. I know no one forgot that, I just thought I'd remind
is all.

Peace to you all.

PS Who the hell decided to do a _Blade_ soundtrack with music "inspired
by"???? What a horrible album.

by"???? What a horrible album. Does anyone know, are there TWO

The CD soundtrack I saw (didn't see the movie) has Shonen Knife doing
"Oh Singapore".

Most excellent. I've been to Tower and all I see is the crappy inspired
by. Where did you see the other one please? And THANKS!! I KNEW there
had to be more than one.

Shonen Knife huh? Hmm. =) Cool.

Best regards!
