Missed first minute or so. Also so much happening tonight had trouble
keeping up and no time to put a v-tape in. Bill

Village
Marlon convices Will that Dee really fancies him. Offers to arrange a
meeting. 'Leave it to Marlon the Matchmaker"

Tea Rooms
Blast from the past, Helen Ackroyd, reporter from Hotten Courier
trying to get some hot goss. Served by Betty who slides into top gear
only to be intercepted by Cathy who equates buying a pot of coffee to
the Couriers idea of cheque-book journalism.
Sam comes in to be disappointed when Cathy won't look at his homework
until later.
Enter Fireman Sam (in civvies). Usual uniform/hose jokes.

Cairns Cottage
Becky on phone telling Zoe about spilling the beans to Rambo. Rambo
walks in and becky puts phone down quickly. 'On the phone to the
girlfriend ?' He goes on to tell Becky that it is pointless going on
and that he is going to Germany. (he must be upset to go there.)

Pollards Flat
Dee answers the door to Marlon and asks in Eric's hearing if she is
alone. Eric wants to know why he wants to see Dee alone and is
convinced that it is because Marlon is trying to get Will his job
back. Exit Eric. Marlon tells Dee that Will wants to appologise and
they arrange a meeting for 8pm at the pavilion.

Cairns Cottage
Becky 'You can't just disappear. What'll I tell the kids?'
Rambo 'Tell them you're having a lesbian affair' (simple really, isn't
it)

Tea Rooms
After the story of the ladies trapped in the toilet, Fireman Sam
arranges a doulbe date with Cathy and Rachel for that evening.

Vets
Paddy point out to Zoe, who is in a world of her own, that she is
working on the wrong bit of the dog on the table, when Becky comes in
crying. Zoe gos to help.

Tea Rooms
Marlon catches an embarrassed Eric trying the redial button on the
phone to see who Dee may have been dialling. Marlon dropping unsubtle
hints as to where Dee may go ;ater.

Vets
Zoe puts Becky to bed.(to sleep) . Is busy discussing her trouble with
Paddy when a red faced Rambo storms (yes storms) in and grabs Zoe by
the throat. Paddy comes to rescue. Rambo drops Zoe against the wall
and hits Paddy, putting him into the other wall. He then says 'Sorry
Paddy but I can't hit a woman', looks at Zoe and continues, 'not even
you!' Becky, having got up, throws a lovely blue glass vase at Rambo
which smashes against the wall where he has Zoe by the throat again.
Rambo hits Becky
Cut to outside:- we see Becky thrown through the door-way to land on
the grass follwed closly by Rambo who again grabs Becky. Will has
arrived and seeing this he charges head-first into Rambo. Ends up with
Rambo sitting astride Will, telling him that he loves him. (I'm
worried about the entire family). Rambo then gets into his car and
drives off.

EOP1

Looking toward village from over an obviously new-built bridge.
Tony drives over bridge, gets out and looks back toward village. Jack
stops in Land Rover and they both agree that some things look better
from a distance.

Pollards Flat
Eric finds a newspaper ad. for flights to the Phillipines circled in
the local rag. He accusses Dee of wanting to leave him. She proves, by
phoning the agent, that she is arranging for them both to visit her
parents and has no intention of leaving him.

Wooly
Jack offers Outhwaite a pint, he declines, saying that he is not
greedy like some folk and again accusses Jack of stealing the tractor.
Jack invites him for a drink with him and Sarah that evening.

Cairns Cottage.
Becky tries to thank will for protecting her. Will replies 'I was
protecting him not you. You deserved a slap.' Will then asks her if
she has ever heard of self control. (Like that he showed with Dee
probably). He then reminds her of what happened in her favorite film,
Brief Encounter, and that it always makes her cry. He says that the
next time that she watches it she shouldn't cry. Emma come in to be
told that Rambo has left for Germany, the implication being that he
has gone to the new job. 'Then why are you crying?' says Emma.
'Because I like my family all around me' lies Becky.

Wine Bar
Dee feins feeling dizzy and tells Eric she must go for a walk.
Sam enters with homework but decides against speaking to Rachel/Cathy
who are moaning re the late firemen.
Sarah questions jack as to what the special occasion is and is
introduced to Outhwaite.
Back to Cathy/Rachel who are considering dialling 999 to find out
where the late firemen are when they come in. Rachel decides that hers
is alright.

Pavillion
Will tells Dee that she is the only one that he can talk to. She asks
why not his family. He says that he comes from a true nuclear family,
2,4 children and totally poisonous.

Wine Bar
Fireman Sams mate is not doing well, being an original MCP. The guys
go to the bar, leaving the girls to compare notes. Rachel has a pop at
Cathy with a great one-liner 'Flutter those eyes anymore, you'll blow
the windows out'.
Marlon come out from the kitchen with Erics coat and offers to hold
the fort while eric goes to see if Dee is ok, nudge, nudge. "I won't be
long' say Eric 'Don't bank on it' Says Marlon.

Vets
Becky telling Zoe about her tongue lashing by Will and seems to think
that being a couple with Zoe will take some getting used to. Zoe
points out that they are not a couple and have just had some fun.
Becky, not happy, leaves.

Pavilion
Dee apologises for not being able to help Will because she is erics
wife. She give Will a Comforting hug as the camera pans out to show
Pollard looking dispairingly from afar. ( IMHO he has been showing how
well he can act lately).
