I have to admit that I don't know. But hey, you may check it on your own.
1. edit common/phones/nk6510.c file; find there "6310|6310i|6510|8310"
string and add there 8390
2. if you use irda, you need also to edit common/devices/unixirda.c; just
put "Nokia 8390" in the phones table
3. edit common/misc.c; you an see there large table of the misc nokia
phones capabilities; copy the nokia 8310 row, change the first and second
column; first to 8390, second to whatever typing '*#0000#' on the phone
keypad shows on the phone screen.
I guess we need another entry in the FAQ.
