COMMENTS: This company develops advanced home entertainment
technology and services for digital television. This
will include an embedded operating system to manage
and present streamed multimedia content...the box will
be networked with TV sets to receive broadband data
delivery via satellite and digital cable. The
executive staff is compiled out of a very large,
graphics company in the Bay. Extremely well funded,
lots of stock options and the chance to be part of an
incredible opportunity.
Role:
· Member of the Applications Team responsible for the
design and development of Teleworld’s viewer
experience. This will be a totally new TV viewing
interface, therefore creativity and bold visionaries
are ideal characteristics. This team will develop
digital media (audio, video, compression) applications
for the TV. This team will set the standard for this
interface. They will produce the markets most
compelling viewer experience for the TV ever.
Experience:
· Strong C++ digital media / multimedia software
application architecture, design and development.
· High energy, fearless programmers who are creative,
out-of-the-box thinkers.
· Non traditional UI developers, i.e. beyond simple
windows, icons, menus and pulldowns.
Ideal backgrounds in Interactive TV or CDROM, Games,
TV broadcast, Multimedia authoring tools.
