Muller scored with 25 seconds left in the third as the Devils had pulled goal
tender Burke for the extra skater. Muller also added a goal in the second
period to make it 3-1 before the Rangers came back on goals from Ogrodnick and
Kisio. Vanbiesbrouck made two brilliant saves in overtime to perserve the tie.

Winnipeg scored four goals in the 3rd period to rally for a 5-3 win to send
the Stars to their 11th defeat in 13 games. Steen and Smail scored to tie the
game and Hawerchuk got the game-winner at 9:57.
