Hello,

An user group (NewtChamp) is forming for PDAs in Vermont, and we would
like you to attend.

NewtChamp will hold an informal discussion about PDAs at 7:00pm on
November 14, 1995 at the offices of Green Mountain Software (128 Prim
Road, Suite 2B, Colchester VT).

PDA, huh? PDA stands for Personal Digital Assistant.

What is a PDA? (PIM, email, games, organizer, scheduler, calculator,
address book, data collector, intelligent assisteant, send and receive
faxes, portable handheld computer, converts handwriting to text,
application specific programs, ...)

Who uses PDAs? (Police, nurses, doctors, farmers, realtors, students,
teachers, inspecotrs, salespeople, photographers, business travelers,
mobile professionals, organizational freaks,...)

The main topic of discussion will be Newton operating system 2.0 that
Apple Computer announced October 25. Apple Computer will be publicly
unvieling Newton OS 2.0 November 13, 1995 at Comdex in Las Vegas and
NewtChamp will be hosting a much smaller demo on the 14th in Vermont.

The second topic of discussion is geared towards the new and undecided PDA
users. We will discuss how a PDA can make you and/or your company more
productive, organized and in touch.

The third topic will be how the Newton PDA interfaces with other systems.
The Newton is not a Macintosh and Apple Computer is not treating it like
one. The Newton platform can be integrated with a variety of systems
including Windows, Macintoshes, and Unix.

Newton Trivia : Did you know that Pope John Paul II has a Newton?
Actually, there were 2 white Newton special ordered for him. He uses the
Newton PDA to prompt him during his speeches.
